Vivian WONG Wing Lam (b. 2000 Hong Kong) is an interdisciplinary artist who utilizes performance and moving imagery as her primary mediums. Wong explores the interconnectedness of the individual body, collective experience, and the ethics of power through poetic creation, documentation, and cross-disciplinary experimentation. Her work examines the body as a field and symbol, carrying and resisting societal states of aphasia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Comparative Literature and Hong Kong Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Live Art and Performance Studies at Uniarts Helsinki.

 

Wong’s work has been shown at Hong Kong HART Haus(2022), Tomorrow Maybe(2022), Current Plans(2023), Magazzino 26(2023 Italy), Miami Art Society(2024 United States) and Home Village (2024 Taipei). She also performed in the 2023 Art Basel performance installation “The Constructor” by Mella Jaarsma, and the 2024 Art Central performance “A Sultry World” by Sunayama Norico.

 

She has worked on choreography for the music video of《氵、夕》of Lap Chau, and participated in various theatre productions including “Mo Ngaan Tai” by Labora Terry Arts Dance Theatre and “Train of Thought 2023” by Beyond Dance Theatre.   Her experimental short film “Temporary(+)Boundary” was screened at the 4th Groundup Student Film Festival and the University of Hong Kong, and she won the Excellence award in the Busan Contest Universiade 2020 with her documentary “ROUTINE”. She received a grant from the Felixism Creation Imagination Institute in 2023 to develop an experimental theater project “The Forbidden Paper”, which combines the practice of performance art, theater, and photography. 

 

Wong was certified in Dance & Movement Therapy for Caring Professionals, and she has been working on arts education since 2022, mainly for primary and secondary school students, the disabled, and people with special needs, in collaboration with Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong Dance Federation, Eaton Hotel Hong Kong, etc.

 

王穎琳 (2000年香港生),跨媒介藝術家,以行為、現場演出及影像為主要創作媒介。王氏透過創作、紀錄和實驗,探索個體、集體經驗和權力倫理之間的相互關係,以身體作為符號和場域進行創作和研究,並延伸至對個體作為符號、生命的連結和其獨立空間、以及現代社會的失語狀態的反思。她於2022年獲香港大學文學士學位,雙主修比較文學和香港研究,現於赫爾辛基藝術大學研讀現場藝術與表演研究碩士

 

王氏的作品曾在Galeria Kub (德國) 及 Miami Art Society (美國)、Magazzino 26(義大利) 、嘉禾新村(台灣)、香港Floating Project 、HART Haus、Tomorrow Maybe、Current Plans等展出。她也曾為Art Basel Mella Jaarsma 的「The Constructor」(2008-2023),以及Art Central Sunayama Norico 的「A Sultry World」(1995-) 擔任表演者。她亦為立秋《氵、夕》 的音樂錄影帶編舞,並為未景之業舞蹈劇場《無眼睇》 、綽舞場《Train of Thought 2023》等劇場製作的舞者。

 

她的實驗短片《Temporary(+)Boundary》(2021)曾於第四屆平地學生電影節及香港大學放映,並憑紀錄片《ROUTINE》(2020)於釜山國際學生電影節上獲獎。她攝影作品被收錄於意大利獨立出版攝影書Exhibit Around 《The Double City》(2024)中,並自行出版攝影誌 《Self/Portrait》(2024)。她在 2023 年獲得 Felixism Creation Imagination Institute 的資助發展《白紙百次》計畫,試驗結合行為藝術、劇場和攝影敘事的可能性。

 

王氏近年以創意工作坊融合現場藝術教育具有舞蹈治療應用資格,教學對象有成人、中小學生、傷殘及特殊需要群體合作對象包括亞洲藝術文獻庫、香港舞蹈總會、香港逸東酒店等。
